I saw at the website Toyark in their news section, some prototypes of some action figures being made based on DC characters including the DCTV Universe. Thing is, the company making these figures, Soap Studio, is based in Hong Kong. These prototypes were from some unknown toy show, assuming it was in the Asia Pacific area.
Among the DCTV offerings...The Flash, Reverse Flash, Arrow...and Supergirl.
These action figures will be on the 1:12 scale meaning they are six inches tall, but have multiple points of articulation and cloth costumes plus accessories. Soap Studio is looking to capitalize on the popularity among toy fans of the US-based company Mezco, which has a highly praised line-up of 1:12 figures, which cost about $80 US (full disclosure, I have the SHAZAM! 1:12 figure, and it's pretty good). This is expected to be the price when and if these figures become available at places like Entertainment Earth, Big Bad Toy Store, etc.
Now the picture from Soap Studio's Facebook page shows a Supergirl figure, but it's a prototype, no face of Melissa, nor hands or anything, but you see the outfit like on the TV show. One can assume from the outfit design the thumb holes will be on the interchangeable hands and not part of the outfit. Just look to the left of Reverse Flash. Again, this is a prototype. No word as of yet on a release date. And it's the best Supergirl picture available.
