Imagine if Karamel's love comes to bear fruit in the midst of this crazy story and a certain super-belly begins to grow ... How will Kara and Mon-El (and the rest of the staff) react to that ???
Twisting a million for a baby karamel !!!

Hmmmmmm.....kids and animals on series, unless they are supposed to be the focal point don't work for me, so I say no baby.

They're not the same species. They're not from the same planet. It should not be possible. Also, truthfully, it would be a very bad idea as a plot element.

I don't think Mon-El's little guys are strong enough for the task at hand.

On Instagram there is a photo of Mon-El, bare chested in bed. It suggests that Kara and Mon-El consummated their relationship!

But like why is the whole filming crew shirtless?
Ah, that apparently was a show of solidarity from the set staff with the actors because the actors were having to do a scene wearing basically nothing (or close to it). I read that they do that to "help actors feel at ease when filming shirtless/nude scenes" and keep the mood light and silly for everyone. I guess the line of thought is if the actors are shirtless, everyone behind the scenes is shirtless too (I'm sure it's optional for the set crew, though )
Though, it's unclear to me if that's a common practice or if it was just the Supergirl set crew being silly.
Hehe, they do seem to have loads of fun filming this show though. Lots of hard work, but looks like a lot of fun too.

Oh yeah there was a scene about that on Glee, just wasn't sure it was common place or happens in real life.

The noteworthy fact that Mon-El has a completely different set of powers, not to mention his lead problem, is not consistent with their being the same species any more. What the writers do with this is up to them.

Superman has a son so species and powers seems not be be a problem. Also of course if anyone played any of the Mass Effect games they would understand fully cross-species romance haha. Besides that yeah like me and someone said before, it's not good for plot at the moment but would be pretty legit for endgame when the whole show is over.

Technically, it's probably possible since Kryptonains and Daxamites share a common ancestry, but it wouldn't make much sense in terms of moving the Kara Zor-EL story along. However, there are those who would wish to see this come to pass and they are certainly entitled to this opinion, but I do not share that view.
From a storytelling perspective, it would dilute rather than enhance the overall product and the objectives of the show. As a go-to plot device, it might work as a whimsical bookend to the series, but then again, it might hamper it.
Only time will tell if it is worth pursuing.

It does not have to be the main focus, but it would give a cool up on the show. I would love to see Kara and Mon-El as parents.

That is kind of the problem for me.....if it is the focal point, the reason for the series etc...then it usually works for me. For example: "This Is Us"....the kids work, they are a focal point and should be. Or "Zoo"...animals work in that series. But, if they are thrust in later???? I normally see them more as a distraction rather than an enjoyment.

It wouldn't work for me. It would just add too much to the show. Same with animals. But if you were to have say a cat, with the name Streaky, just don't make it the Supercat. Just make it an ordinary cat with an unusual streak. And no it doesn't have to be orange like the comics.
Thing is though, Melissa Benoist in real life loves puppies (the MTV video where she is losing it trying to answer questions while distracted by cute pups will show that). This might be a step out of her comfort zone.

You'd better make a better excuse. Because what you said does not make any sense. Daxamites and Kryptonians are basically of the same species and race, yes, with very few differences. It's as if Kara was from the US and Mo-el was from Canada. The differences are minimal. In addition, if Winn can date an alien (too ugly the creature, the purpose), I do not see why Kara and Mon-El, who has much more to do with the reasons already mentioned, could not be together and have a child of them. Also, I do not think it would ruin the show, but what is already being spoiled by a lot of sub-plots, these yes, totally meaningless.

Hmmmmm....of course it's possible, and absolutely nothing wrong with it.....
I just don't want kids or animals added to the show at the moment.

It would be cool but perhaps as an epilogue scene when the whole show is over, because having a kid would weirdly factor into the show's plot.
Arrow has a son that he doesn't even interact with and it's a heavy burden on him.

W. C. Fields said: "Anyone who hates children and animals can't be all bad." Perhaps, we should keep it that way for simplicity's sake on the show. I do have a lovely tuxedo cat and I have been known to enjoy children just to clarify matters.
