Night 1 started with a total bang! So many Christmas gifts including the Super Flarrowverse's birthday love to Superman the Movie. And we even heard the "Smallville" theme! When that happened a lot of screams went up. Tyler Hoechlin is still based on the Superman I grew up with, with a lot of Christopher Reeve.
Laughs...well there were so many, it made you feel good.
Tyler and Bitsie's chemistry is developing nicely with her Lois a mix of Margot Kidder and the Dana Delany voice from the classic 1990's Superman animated series.
Result: An hour of enjoyable TV.

I was really impressed with Melissa, Stephen, and Grant — their energy, their kindness, and the enthusiasm that they had about the crossover."
I can agree with Bitsie Tulloch on this. Stephen certainly got me excited for the crossover with his enthusiastic tweets while filming in October.
James Bamford (Director of the Arrow Elseworlds episode) posted this fun photo on his Instagram today.
So ready for the crossover now, especially looking forward to the Kara/Barry/Oliver (Supergirl/The Flash/Green Arrow) scenes.
Even John Wesley Shipp as Flash of Earth (19)90 gets in on the photobomb fun. The more of this silliness BTS, tells me expect to enjoy yourself for the crossover.

From TV Line...one word can describe the crossover...FUN!
From Melissa's thoughts...
And as for Batwoman/Kate Kane...she and Kara may actually have some things in common, although some may wonder about the Super/Bat...well...team-up
I did not know Ms. Kane was Bruce Wayne's cousin. Well the cousin angle is one commonality.
Now if the cast says they had fun and it can translate to the fans/audience, then these be not idol boasts by all involved.
From Melissa's thoughts...
This one was so fun, in particular, because it really was ‘the triad,’ so to speak.” She is, of course, referring to the trio of superfriends at the center of the event, which finds Oliver Queen’s Green Arrow and Barry Allen’s The Flash caught up in a body swap.
“Kara plays a really fun role in this dilemma that Barry and Oliver find themselves in,” Benoist previewed. “She’s the only one that really recognizes them for who they are in this Freaky Friday situation. And it’s really comedic, the whole thing.”
And as for Batwoman/Kate Kane...she and Kara may actually have some things in common, although some may wonder about the Super/Bat...well...team-up
“Their scenes are really nice because of their similarities,” Benoist described. “Kate Kane is Bruce Wayne’s cousin and all these things, so they really relate on a lot of levels that I don’t think Kara’s found yet in another female superhero. There’s a really deep understanding from the get-go between the two of them.”

Nice interview with Bitsie Tulloch aka Lois Lane.
What stood out most to me are her final words.
"I just want to emphasize how lovely the actors were to work with. Having done a TV show as long as I did, and that also shot really extreme long hours and often through the night, I really respect how burned-out actors can get, especially halfway through a season when Christmas hasn’t happened yet so nobody’s really had a long break since they started filming in July or whatever. I was really impressed with Melissa, Stephen, and Grant — their energy, their kindness, and the enthusiasm that they had about the crossover."

New trailer. Looking quite exciting now.
Can't help but feel in crossovers they will always make Kara and her setting and her team tertiary to the Arrowverse's preferred duo though, however with the majority of heroes on Earth 1 it makes sense.
Adding Batwoman to E38 would fix that perfectly, yet I sense they did precisely the reverse.
If they are really planning what I think they are, for next year's crossover, then the Earth Batwoman resides on wont matter. With the seeds they seem to be planting, the multiple Earths may converge into 1, by the end of next year's crossover.
And even if I'm wrong, the Earth on which specific shows take place seems trivial, when Cisco has his dimensional extrapolaters.
I mean, look at Arrow and Flash. They reside on the same Earth, but still almost never interact outside of the annual crossover.

Calling it now, Kara is going to have a good laugh when she sees Barry and Oliver suited up as their opposites.
Her signature "toss her head back gutteral laugh" for sure, LeilaWWG.
It might happen...then again...

Preview of the crossover from TV Insider. Possible spoilers in the article.
One of Guggenheim's comments in this article make it seem like they are planning for a very famous DC story line for next year's crossover...perhaps the MOST famous.
It also happens to be a story line that we didn't think would happen until season 10 of Flash, according to a certain future newspaper.
I'm incredibly intrigued by both this year's crossover, as well as whatever they are planning for next year. Especially if Greg Berlanti has some sort of "Master Plan".
I think it'd be best to do the story line I'm referring to earlier than season 10 of the Flash. Arrow might not last that long. And I love Supergirl, but 9-10 seasons is a bit long for almost any show...Supernatural being the exception.
Yeah at the current rate season 6 onwards will be a massive struggle for all these shows

A few different articles (with photos) and a video for your reading and viewing pleasure.
4) Superhero Hangout! Supergirl, the Flash, Arrow, Superman Take a Break Together, video from Celebrity Wot Not.
I'm pretty happy to be honest when I read this "But at the end of the day, the crossover is primarily a topsy-turvy ode to the universe’s main trio: Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), the Flash (Grant Gustin), and Green Arrow (Stephen Amell).", so looking forward to the scenes with the 3 of them together both in their civilian and superhero identities.
Hmm, early in the video Stephen and Melissa are chatting it up...could they have been talking about what he did to her during the filming of the last crossover, which led to (IMHO) the greatest Arrowverse blooper of all time?
And Tyler acting so goofy as Superman...he could've learned that from his TV cousin...or does it come naturally...or is it me?

For those curious about our coverage of Elseworlds, our sister site, https://batwoman.tv has some great articles to check out. Please excuse the shameless self promotion.
You will give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun, Kal. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders.
