Entertainment Tonight Clip On the New Mel/Chris Budding Relationship

Two good people. I wish them all the happiness in the world.

As for Melly Mel and NC Chyler, their times out were for appearances at charity or industry (CBS, CW, and so on). Would not matter for me regardless.

No, what I meant was...I have a feeling if it was an Entertainment Tonight video about Chyler and Mel being out at, let's say lunch or having a Girl's Weekend, we'd be LOVING the video footage, and no one would have given it a second thought. I didn't give the video I posted a 2nd thought either. It was a video about two of the actors that ET did, tied into the show, with video clips of the show.

Relevant to the site in that it shows two of the show's frontrunners enjoying life. Not like they were hiding it. No different than posting if it was Melissa and Chyler having a girl's weekend. Everyone would be stoked for that post.

Thought I was simply posting a regular ole video clip from ET like we all do when Supergirl related stories pop up. No harm no foul.

As long as no compromising pictures or video scandals are in the offing, then it's no one's business but their own. I wish them well.

Not to be that person (and I generally try to avoid commenting about these things because an actor’s personal life isn’t the public’s business), but since I didn’t initiate this topic and open the door to the gossip/speculation….apparently, there already were other pap pictures (other than these Cancun pap pictures) of Melissa and Chris together from much earlier than this. Early enough that, if Vancouver paps are to believed, their relationship predates her filing for divorce in December (and his split from his girlfriend in January).

But, this is a celebration of something they obviously were not attempting to hide. It was a joyous story done by one of the major entertainment shows here in the U.S. wishing them well [...]

If I’m being a cynic (which I am 80% of the time) and putting on my PR spin hat, I’d speculate that they (Melissa and Chris) weren’t "hiding" their relationship now in these Cancun pap pics because they had already been outed - again, they’d been spotted by Vancouver paps months prior - and by putting on some romantic PDA here - with color coordinated swimsuits, beautiful beach backdrop and all - and having a pap conveniently snap some high quality pics and video and then disseminating those pics to mainstream entertainment news sites, they (and their PR reps) could control the story somewhat. They could paint this as a brand new thing now that (arguably) enough time had passed between her divorce and his split from his previous girlfriend to distract from the purported overlap between them splitting with their previous partners and this "new" relationship.

But even if that's so…it’s their lives, they can do what they want. They're entitled to private lives like anyone else.

I’m now going back to my corner where I'm silently judging everything, but not commenting. ;-)

Been seeing that but thought it's their business and not quite relevant to the site. Not saying you shouldn't have posted though, I just didn't feel like.

On a relevant note though, TV relationships are always funner to watch knowing they're actually real.
