How Many Earths, and Nura Nal

Okay, now that the final episodes for all of the shows have been aired, and we've settled down to there probably being more interest in COVID-19 over the next few months than in our favourite shows, which won't start airing their next seasons until early 2021, I have two questions to while away some time with:

1) "How many Earths?":
The 'Crisis' five-part saga started (on "Supergirl";) with Mar Novu telling us all about how the multiverse came to be, and concluded (on the "Legends of Tomorrow" in January) with Oliver Queen telling us about the end of the Crisis and the beginning of a new reality. He specifically describes how "Then the infinitude found release, and finally, the darkness broke, filling it with life – with the multiverse. Every existence, multiplied by possibility".
Indeed, even as he concluded his description, we even saw scenes from several other Earths: Earths 2, 9, 12, 19, and 21 were all named, and even Earth-96, where we saw Brandon Routh's Superman-96 flying above that Earth (in a direct recreation of that famous scene from the Superman movies from years ago), and his "S" symbol had even been modified with the black background of his earlier suit being replaced by a new yellow background.
The new multiverse might have been smaller than the previous one, but it seemed pretty clear that there was a new multiverse, rather than a single only-one universe.
However, in episodes of both "Supergirl" and "The Flash" since then, we have seen several suggestions that "Earth Prime" is now the only Earth that there is anymore.
So what happened to the other Earths that Oliver talked about, and that we clearly saw at the end of the Crisis? And if this is the only Earth that is left now, then why isn't is just simply called "Earth", instead of "Earth Prime", which usually indicates that it would be the first, with more than one other Earth somewhere else?
On top of that, at least one recent comment on this forum about the new "Stargirl" TV show has suggested that she is on "Earth 2" rather than "Earth-Prime" and can't do cross-overs with 'Supergirl' or the other shows because of that.
Does anyone else have any explanation for why Oliver talked about, and we saw for ourselves, multiple other Earths in this new multiverse, or how 'Stargirl' can be on 'Earth-2', or how we can be 'Earth Prime' if there are no other Earths; and yet no one, including Cisco Ramon, can find any other Earths?

2) "Nura Nal":
Nia Nal's 'great, great, great, great, many-greats, grandmother' (quoting Winn) Nura Nal clearly inherited Nia's dream powers in the future. But how can this be?
Nia is a trans-woman and, as such, doesn't have a birth-woman's reproductive system; thus, the only children that she will ever have is by adoption. And if a Naltorian woman's dream powers can be passed down from mother to daughter only through genetic reproduction, then how can Nia pass her own dream powers on to any daughters that she may adopt?
Maybe I've missed something here, and if so, then could someone explain this one to me?

1) Our Earth-Prime heroes don’t believe other Earths exist because they can’t access them. The inter-dimensional extrapolators don’t work and Cisco doesn’t have his powers. Some tech from the previous multiverse doesn’t work anymore. On this show Lena’s work with Q-Waves wasn’t valid anymore and Lex used something he stole from the Legion ship to help her. It wasn’t until season two of the Flash that the previous multiverse became known to Earth-1’s heroes. At some point other Earth’s in the new multiverse will become known to Earth-Prime’s heroes.

2) When Nia described her powers to Kara she said “Once in a generation some of our woman...” here’s the video
She never said the powers were passed from mother to daughter. Since it’s once a generation to me that implies no biological relationship is even necessary. Nia’s sister Mave expected to have the powers because their mother dreamed that her daughter would have them so I understand the thinking that the powers are passed from mother to daughter but that’s not what Nia described. A biological daughter of Mave could have dream powers. What if after mending their relationship Mave helps Nia become a mom by being a surrogate. Or even what if Nia adopts a Naltorian child who happens to be one in her generation to have the powers.

Earth Prime doesn't know there are other Earths or a new Multiverse. The Paragons knew the entire multiverse was seemingly destroyed and a single new Earth was created that was a composite of sorts from 3 more Earths. Instead of calling it Earth 1 or Earth 38, they just went for Earth Prime.

They just haven't been able to detect the existence of a new multiverse as their known ways to scan for multiple Earths pre-Crisis doesn't work in Post-Crisis. They will no doubt discover the new multiverse. Perhaps there is a field of residual anti matter blocking their detection?

Nura would be the great.... granddaughter, not grandmother.

It actually is possible through invitro and a surrogate may have been used with a donor egg and Nia's dna to create an actual bloodline.

Not many replies to these two questions, but quality is always better than quantity.
By the numbers:
1) I wondered if the other worlds in the new multiverse might be out there, but hidden somehow. Judging from the responses to this question, it seems as if others believe that this is possibly the explanation. We will have to wait and see, but your suggestions as to how this could be the case were all very good and welcomed.
2) The fact that Naltorian dream powers can 'skip a generation' was already explained to Kara by Nia, but my curiosity was entirely about the fact that Nia can't have biological children of her own. Still, I hadn't considered the possibility that the 'skip-a-generation' idea could apply to Maeve, so that was a good idea. If Maeve does have children in the future, maybe her daughter would inherit her grandmother Isabel's dream powers. That would make her Nia's niece, not her own direct genetic descendant, but it's still keeping it in the family.
And, yes, CatPat, you are absolutely correct: Nia is the great-great (many-greats) grandmother, and Nura is the great-great granddaughter. I missed that one, so nice catch!

If Maeve does have children in the future, maybe her daughter would inherit her grandmother Isabel's dream powers. That would make her Nia's niece, not her own direct genetic descendant, but it's still keeping it in the family.
If Maeve were to be a surrogate for Nia the child would be considered Nia’s daughter not her niece. That’s how it works IRL even if the surrogate is a family member. IRL families are very clear on telling the child something like “you came from aunt Maeve’s tummy” when the child is young then explaining surrogacy when the child is older. The parent(s) are the people or person who raise the child regardless of biology.
