Is it a coincidence that Reign and Morgan appear at the same time?

I noticed that in the sypnosis for episode 9, entitled "Reign", Morgan and Reign appear at the same time. I know that this is a slim possibility, but what if that isn't just a coincidence. What if they are working together? Or maybe her triggers Sam to turn into Reign? (probably not) Or maybe it's something more sinister.

I think it will be his attack against Lena that triggers Sam. Like he threatens Sam bc he knows she's close to Lena so attempts to Kill her or her daughter and then Reign awakens and does something like kill, or attempt to kill Morgan.

Then of course Kara will barge in and all she'll see is Reign attempting to kill Morgan and start punching.

My guess.

Yeah, but in the sypnosis it says that 'Reign challenges Supergirl' so my guess is that she turns into Reign at episode 7 and then puts up her symbol everywhere in episode 9 (like they said) and then comes out of the shadows to challenge her. Like, 'Hey! You are smart enough to find out what the symbols mean and now you want me! Well here I am, Supergirl!' then just be out there in the public maybe causing some havoc and then Supergirl comes in, and Reign probably will beat her senseless. at least that is my guess based on everything so far.
