Wake Up left us with a lot more questions than answers so I thought I'd start a thread with questions that we want answered during the remainder of the season. As we get answers we'll have one place to refer to, and as new questions come up they can be added. I'll start with some questions.
1) What is the Legion of Superheroes doing in 2017/2018? The general consensus seems to be to help Kara defeat Reign and it makes sense that the two stories would converge.
1a) Why now and not say when Sam was a child? Time travel issues.
2) What was Mon-El doing for seven years that prevented him from going back to Kara?
3) This one we might not get an answer to but why did L-Corp develop a cure in 400 years so Daxamites could live on Earth? Perhaps something that reverses the effects of lead poising in humans allows Mon-El to survive on Earth. Currently lead poising can be cured but some effects are lasting and can't be reversed.
4) Why didn't Mon-El give Kara back her neckless? Speculation is there is more to that piece of jewelry than just a memento from mother to daughter. If they follow the comics and Zor-El had a part in creating the Worldkillers then what did Alura know. Did Zor-El make a piece of jewelry that would be a failsafe in case the project went wrong. There has to be a reason Alura was recast. The dream sequences in "Girl of Steel" wouldn't have taken Laura Benanti more than a few days to film. I don't believe there was anything in "Triggers" that season one footage couldn't have been used for. The Faithful did have the AI praying with Kara but I'm fairly sure it would have been possible to film that in a green screen room in New York and it wouldn't have taken very long. There was also the scene in "The Faithful" on Krypton with Alura and Kara praying but I don't think we saw their faces. The most Erica Durance has been used was in "Midvale" and many of us think it was cruel of J'onn to impersonate Alura.

DC TV Watch: 7 Burning Questions for 'Supergirl's' 2018 Return, from hollywoodreporter.com.
Since this article asked about Superman I’ll add another question.
When will we see Cat in National City again?
Cat will certainly hear about Supergirl’s defeat. Kara could really use a pep talk from Cat about now. Calista did say she wanted to do more but perhaps the timing hasn’t worked.

Yeah, no to Ruby killing her mom.So, its been 2 years since I last wrote here, but back then I said there will be a Worldkiller, I just expected it to be played by Laura Vandervoort.
But now we also have the Legion of Superheroes here, which we know Mon-El is the strongest member of, just like Superman is to the JL.
The typical enemy of the LoS are not the Worldkillers but the Time Trapper.
And Supergirl doesn't need the Legion to defeat Reign, since only a Worldkiller can kill a Worldkiller, there must be at least another one.
So why is the Legion here? Were they send back by the Time Trapper? Or is this really just a coincident? Is there a bigger arch forming?
Yeah, only a world killer can defeat a world killer? So I guess we're lucky then that we have a 13 year old girl who is half world killer on the show.
Oh tragic, if she has to kill her mom. That's even MORE tragic than I had pictured Sam's demise. Or maybe what some of us were thinking might actually happen, then... Sam redeems herself at the very end by killing other world killers, and saves Earth.

My season 3 question is, will livewire ever return? And as I was thinking of this team funniest thought popped in my head. When she returns she is good now and then she comes back and supergirl, Alex, and livewire have a girl's night braiding each other's hair. Now THAT would be the BEST episode ever
Yeah, if I recall they kind of left that hanging. Kara ended that episode saying that she believed that Livewire still had some good in her, and that "if she came looking for trouble," she would get it, but also believing that there was a chance that she could look for help. Thats kind of why I had brought that up earlier.

Very interesting, Breirose. I was wondering about Cadmus myself. Sam, however, is the big villain of the Season and I think it will take a number of episodes to run the Reign story. If I am correct, Reign appears just before the Season break. I exp ct that a significant part of the secon part of the Season will be Reign.
I do think that Mon-El and the Legion are there to help. But if they are, how come they were years of rock strata. Did they make a miscalculation or did they intend to arrive in the other time period?
Just some initial thoughts

Unless Silver Banshee is FAR GREATER, BETTER WRITTEN, BETTER LOOKING, MORE FIERCE than the season 1 iteration? Then no, she was very weak IMO. Where was the magic? She just screams....

So far we've had Livewire, Reactron and Bizarro. What other Season 1 or 2 villains would anyone like to see return in Season 3?.I don't know about Mxy, she pretty much took care of him, it would be hard for them to get rid of him a 2nd time. Though that was one of my favorite episodes of last season. Pretty much for me it would be Reactron....Bizarro would not be a villain this time around. I also, want them to close out the Cadmus story line with a couple of episodes so I would like for them to bring back Brenda Strong as Lillian Luthor....
My answer is Mxy, I definitely be up for another fun adventure with him.
Maybe they could do a plot where Mxy actually has to get Kara's help for something? I remember in the comics, Mxy did have a wife, or something. It would be a good parallel to mon el moving on if he showed up asking for help about that.
Also Silver Banshee. They set her up for like 5 episodes and then dropped her after the first flash crossover.

I've never been a big fan of Livewire.....so if they want a villain to come back, I'd like to know what happened to Reactron. My Season 3 question is:
Will we see Jeremiah Danvers at all in Season 3?.
My season 3 question is if they will have Livewire reappear at all. She appeared 2x in season 1, and once in season 2, so she's the most recurring non seasonal villain I think?
what about Bizarro? Kara promised to fix her, and then they left her in a coma. I think the character is recast-able if they just explain it away as plastic surgery.
Kara told her she would be there when she woke up.....I guess she hasn't woke up. The helping her was putting her back into the state she was in before Lord got a hold of her, she was in a coma....that was all they could do for her.

2) What was Mon-El doing for seven years that prevented him from going back to Kara?Dating, and then marrying Saturn Girl and possibly even having little Mon-El's and Saturn Girls?
That is a good question, Kiwi. Related to that:
1. I'd like to know what's going on with Cadmus? Are they completely out of commission or just building up an army for a later attack?
For the current arc, my current questions/curiosity are:
1. an off-shoot of what you have- to what extent are Mon-El et al. willing to interfere with the timeline?
2. Are there other World Killers nearby and will they join Reign in the fight?

My speculation:
1b) I think that is just writing. Many times CWTV writers circumvents the most logical path to make a story.
2) I hope we find out at a later stage, but I believe this is likely to be revealed
3) I think in the future the Earth might have become a diverse multi-racial (like actually alien races) society. Daxamites might have come in numbers especially since they are without a home.
4) I don't know whether the necklace is important but he does seem attached to it. Whether it is important or not though there's no reason to give it back. A gift is normally not returned.
