Supergirl and my start!

Almost all of the gifts that were listed on the page were things that I had asked for for Christmas! They definitely know what they are talking about when they are talking about. I really want the Supergirl age of Atlantis book because it is based on the show and not the comics so I will be more likely to keep reading it and not just throw (a very harsh term for what I am trying to portray) it to the side like I do with the comics because after I got a taste of the TV show I can't go back to reading a comic without it being like oh Alex should have come in there or Mon-EL should have said something about that to Kara. In 2015 I didn't even know that DC existed and now I am a Superhero junky! During Football season in 2015, I saw a little pop-up at the bottom of the screen that said there would be a Supergirl premiere on Monday, October 26. I was kind of excited and didn't know what I would be getting myself into, but I knew it had to be great. I just around then discovered Instagram and had a DC frenzy and started to learn more about comics and how there was a whole universe and how it tied to the other shows. It wasn't until last year when I got Netflix when I started to watch Arrow, The Flash, and DCL. I was a true fangirl at that point and had watched all of the episodes of each show. I then started to find people at my school that liked the same things that I did and we ended up making a Superhero TV show and comic club. It is amazing and we meet once a week to talk about what had been happening and what we think will happen. Then while the episodes are in a commercial we discuss the episode and what e think they should have done to make the suspense more or creating more depth to characters like Winn or James. We also pick out ships we like and talk about those. I am so glad that I started to watch Supergirl and got into the WONDERFUL world of Superheros. I used to hate football, but now I thank it for showing the notification of the Supergirl premiere! I hope all of you have a great week of shopping for the holidays and spending time with family.
