Supergirl dolls from Star Ace Toys

Hmm...Kara looks like she is worried. But I'm glad some new things are coming out about Star Ace, which can be bought in the usual toy places like Big Bad Toy Store. But I have also seen Star Ace things on Amazon.

By the way, where did you get the preview images of Superman and Supergirl? I have searched social media and have not seen them

Ah ha...so one can assume when Kal and Kara are ready, Sideshow will be one of the places to get them

Hey, hold on there. I am waiting to see a bit more of this before plucking down some cash. And...I will let you know if anything else comes up. If this meets to the Admin's liking, perhaps a contest can be held like for the statues and a comic book based on the TV show, signed by the writers...which I won.

Looks like some more has been added when it comes to the making of Star Ace's SG figure. There are pictures on their Facebook page of them using many pictures of Melissa Benoist in costume as well as a figure made by a company called Super Duck, which does not carry the SG TV outfit anymore. Somehow Star Ace is looking to try and get it right.

Ladies and gentlemen...we have waited this for a while...and now, the moment has arrived.

The plastic figure measures 8.86 inches...let's say nine inches like Mego or Figures Toy Company. It also features 26 Points of articulation.

The hands come in three pair...BUT, they have the thumb attachment painted on not attached to the sleeves.

And the first thing you will notice...the House of El symbol is NOT that of the TV show.

As with anything...this is a prototype and is subject to change.

That said, Big Bad Toy Store has her on pre-order. The price...$139.99.

LATE BREAKING DEVELOPMENTS TODAY (3/26/19). A post on Star Ace's Facebook page last week made the following announcement...

The shield and fit of the suit will be adjusted in production. It will also be darker to better match the source.

Which proves the pictures you see are a prototype and will be changed prior the figure's shipping out. When new pictures are ready, you will see them.

It looks okay. Not amazing. I might still get it.

Martian Manhunter looks awesome. But his suit could be nearly 100% sculpted due to it's armored looking aesthetic. Obviously, with Supergirl, they had to work with hair and real fabric, which is just far more difficult to do.

It'll never happen, but I REALLY wish Hot Toys would take a run at Supergirl and the Arrowverse.

I have gotten an update from Star Ace's social media regarding the figure. From their Facebook there is a link to a side by side comparison of the figure sculpt (in black and white) to a picture of Melissa flashing a warm grin.

She's going to be worth the wait!
