Supergirl Season 4 On CBS: Cancelled or Renewed? Status, Release Date

The CW has internally renewed Supergirl for Season 4, slated to premiere fall 2018, insiders inform RenewCancelTV.

Supergirl Season 4 joins the likes of Black Lightning, Legends of Tomorrow, Riverdale, Jane the Virgin (final season) and Supernatural on The CW’s 2018-19 season return list.

Stay tuned as we now monitor the renew/cancel status of Supergirl Season 5…

I'm sure it is renewed, but I'm always skeptical until there is an official announcement from the network.

For what they could do in Season 4... Ruby is supposed to be coming back right? And also interesting to me they could probably put Power Girl in the series, or have Ruby take on the Superboy plot line since she is a hybrid.
Also they could probably do the furies as antagonists in season 4.

I personally would still love to see an Super Girl & Batgirl team up in Season 4. But last face it Warner's Bro's will never allow Bat Girl to make appearance on the show. But how can they knowledge that there is Gotham City and Bat man on Earth 32 even though they didn't actually say his name. That has to mean there is JIm Gordon and Barbara Gordon on earth 32.

My advice to Warner bro's is let them have Bat Girl make appearance on the show and plus would be good way to make character more know to general public beyond people who read comic's and plus you could test the water's if there was enough support for big screen verison Bat Girl.

Bizarre rumor from friend about season four: There are issues with guns...so in season four the DEO will not carry any. I find the claim to be outre. I have no idea where the rumor came from. I found the Powergirl rumor to be more credible.

I have pursued this rumor back toward the source, and no longer find it credible. It could be true, but I would not put money on it.

Definitely no Batman characters for Supergirl. As for Batgirl, there is a character that's closest to her and she's called Misfit. She wears a cosplay Batgirl costume and has super-strength.
