Superman & Lois EP Teases Supergirl/Arrowverse "Answer" This Season
Posted on April 3, 2022 by Ray Flook
Considering that The CW's Tyler Hoechlin & Elizabeth Tulloch-starring Superman & Lois has its backstory roots deeply entrenched in the Arrowverse, a number of fans have been wondering why the show hasn't been embracing its connections to Supergirl (especially considering the family connections with Melissa Benoist's Kara), The Flash, Batwoman, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and others. In the past, the creative team has stressed the importance of giving Superman & Lois a chance to build itself up as its own series first before branching out to other shows. And then the pandemic reportedly scrapped a number of potential crossover plans. But at this weekend's WonderCon 2022, series showrunner & EP Todd Helbing dropped a ten-ton hint at the end of a panel Q&A that also included Hoechlin and Tulloch. When asked jokingly by the host if Lois & Clark could at least get a text from Kara as a way of getting to the bigger issue at hand, Helbing conceded that the two reasons we just went over were big factors. But then the clouds shifted as Helbing teased that some clarity may be on the way… and sooner than viewers think. "I'll just say that at the end of this season [Season 2], you'll get the answer to the questions that you guys have." Hmmm… will this "answer" be specific to Superman & Lois or does it speak to much bigger Arrowverse plans that are in play?
Here's the full panel.

Titans showrunner previews Titus Welliver's arrival as Lex Luthor
It turns out the Bosch star is a huge fan of DC Comics, and barely had to be convinced to play the infamous supervillain.
By Christian Holub
September 11, 2022
Casting Titus Welliver in Titans was not a hard sell. Though best-known for playing the hard-nosed titular detective on Bosch, Welliver is actually a big comics fan — as Titans showrunner Greg Walker discovered when he called the actor to pitch him on playing Lex Luthor.
"You usually have to do this whole dog-and-pony show to get an actor to do the show," Walker tells EW over Zoom. "But when I called to kind of lure him in, I could barely get a word in. We were talking on the phone and he was just walking through his library, telling me about all his Wolfman/Perez Titans editions. He's a giant, giant fan. He'd watched every episode of the show, and could tell me about certain stories, certain shots. It was the most unexpected call I've ever had."
Welliver's Luthor, who you can see in a first-look photo above, poses an interesting challenge for the Titans. Despite being one of the most infamous supervillains in the DC canon, he's still just human. His threat is intellectual and psychological.
"He has a very sensitive, thoughtful approach to evil and power. You know what he's done, what he's capable of doing, except like many of those people, he's personable. He doesn't have a cat on his lap. Yeah. He's curious, which I think is very interesting about his character. He wants to know about people and what makes them tick, and how they're different from him. He sees the world through the lens both of his own power and his own inadequacy, and tries to compensate for both."
Luthor is particularly threatening for Superboy. Conner (Joshua Orpin) was created from a combination of Superman's DNA with Luthor's. This season, Conner will finally have to reckon with what that means.
"We're really going deeper in all these characters and shaking them up," Walker says. "What shakes Conner up is an identity story. He's explored his Superman self, but he has not really explored his Lex self. What does that mean when you do? What happens when you give that self the keys to the car? Does it start driving the wrong way at rush hour 100 miles an hour?"
Check out the first look photo above. Titans season 4 premieres on HBO Max this November.
Jon Cryer made a fun little tweet about starting the bearded Lex Luthor trend.lol
Personally,I think this is great casting and as a Titans watcher looking forward to this Superboy storyline with Lex in Titans Season 4.

I'm sort of the same mind. While I still like Superman & Lois(but hate cutting the ties to the Arroweverse),I would rather Supergirl appear on Stargirl(will be watching the season 3 premiere in about a hour and half) or in this upcoming final season of The Flash. The Flash would be my top choice right now given her friendship with Barry.
With that said,I wouldn't not watch if Melissa appeared on Superman & Lois but unless it was Earth Prime Supergirl ending up on the S & L Earth(like Barry did in Season 1 of Supergirl),I would rather a recast if S & L did its own version of Kara like with Sam and Morgan Edge.I didn't like what was done with Lucy either.Watching the same actors play a different version of their characters when we were sold S & L was going to be on Earth Prime makes them feel like pod people to me still and that includes Superman & Lois themselves.Recasting makes it easier for me to buy them as different versions of the characters.

No just no! I really hope this is just Bitsy’s desire to work with Melissa again and not that she thinks Helbing’s ideas are good. This from Helbing is why.
Superman and Lois being set on its own Earth will allow the creatives to drastically reinvent the Girl of Steel, which is something that Helbing is excited to tackle should the opportunity present itself. "Yeah, it would not be the Supergirl from the Arrowverse, it would be our version so we would invent a new backstory for her," Helbing explained. "The same way that we did with Lucy [Lane], General Lane, and John Diggle, the same way with John Diggle" He continued, "They may be their doppelganger and they may look exactly the same. But it would be a completely different story."What they did with Lucy Lane wasn’t cool IMO and I wouldn’t want them to have the opportunity to do the same with Kara, note the word “drastically” is used. I don’t trust the S&L showrunners one bit to in anyway honor the shows that made it possible. The petty part of me continues to hope S&L gets canceled after season 3 and Melissa is unavailable due to other comments.

I didn't want to start a new thread for this but at a convention last weekend Elizabeth Tulloch revealed that Melissa Benoist still wants to make an appearance on Superman & Lois.If Melissa herself makes a future comment or this were to happen,I would make a new thread.

Thanks for the info. From what I read this looks like nothing more then a rumor which Elizabeth Tulloch didn't even know about. She said that Melissa had some interest appearing on the show which means nothing. In a way I would like to see her as supergirl but not on that show. I would prefer she go on STARGIRL which kicks off their third season tonight. Be there or be square.

Supergirl Star Melissa Benoist Wants to Appear on Superman & Lois
BY LEE FREITAG
PUBLISHED 39 MINUTES AGO
Elizabeth Tulloch reveals that Melissa Benoist is reportedly open to returning as Supergirl in the Arrowverse-adjacent Superman and Lois.
Superman and Lois star Elizabeth Tulloch has revealed that Melissa Benoist wants to return as Supergirl in the superhero drama series.
The actor, who currently portrays Lois Lane on The CW series, recently attended Fan Expo Canada 2022 with her co-star Tyler Hoechlin, who portrays the titular Man of Steel. The actors were asked to respond to a rumor that had been circulating that claimed Benoist would be appearing in the upcoming third season of Superman and Lois. "We have not heard that rumor about her coming on the show," Tulloch said. "She has expressed interest to me in doing it, and I know that we would love to work with her again and Grant [Gustin] and everyone else. I just don't know...ever since we started the show, COVID has been a reality which is why we haven't done any of the crossovers or anything like that, so we just can't speak to whether or not that's feasible."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKScHudEDyg
Benoist played Kara Danvers/Supergirl in all six seasons of Supergirl, which aired from 2015 to 2021, as well as in several crossover appearances on The Flash and other Arrowverse series. If Benoist did appear on Superman and Lois there is a chance that she would be playing an entirely new version of the Girl of Steel since the Season 2 finale of Superman and Lois established that the DC series was set in its own world, separate from Earth-Prime which is Benoist's Supergirl, Grant Gustin's The Flash and the Legends of Tomorrow. Showrunner Todd Helbing explained the decision to not set Superman and Lois on Earth-Prime was done to allow the creative team the opportunity to put their "own stamp on the Superman property."
Supergirl Would Be Reinvented for Superman and Lois
Superman and Lois being set on its own Earth will allow the creatives to drastically reinvent the Girl of Steel, which is something that Helbing is excited to tackle should the opportunity present itself. But it would be a completely different story."
Helbing, Tulloch, Hoechlin and the rest of the cast and crew are currently in the midst of pre-production of Superman and Lois Season 3, which will begin filming this September. One cast member who will not be returning is Jordan Elsass, who departed the DC series after two seasons in Aug. 2022. Warner Bros. Television stated that the actor had left "due to personal reasons" and that the role of Jonathan Kent would be recast. Elsass later explained that he stepped away from the popular show to focus on his mental health. "I know that I was pumped for Season 3, for sure, but what are you going to do? Anyway, mental health is definitely 100-percent priority. It’s pinnacle. It’s got to take precedence," Elsass said in a video message to a fan.
Superman and Lois Season 3 will premiere on The CW in 2023.

Supergirl's Melissa Benoist Wants To Guest On Superman & Lois, Says Star
BY ANDY BEHBAKHT
Supergirl actress Melissa Benoist is still game to make a guest appearance on The CW's Superman & Lois, says Lois Lane star Bitsie Tulloch.
According to Bitsie Tulloch, who plays Lois Lane on The CW series Superman & Lois, Supergirl star Melissa Benoist is open to making a guest appearance on the show. Before the global pandemic struck the world, The CW's Arrowverse franchise was bigger than ever, with more than five shows running at the time. After the Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline happened in 2020, the Arrowverse got a soft reboot while bringing all of the ongoing DC TV shows on the network together in one shared universe, known as Earth-Prime.
While Superman & Lois was initially conceived as a Supergirl spinoff, it was established that both shows took place in the same world as the other Arrowverse dramas. However, once Tyler Hoechlin and Tulloch's offshoot series kicked off, Superman & Lois season 1 didn't refer to any of the other Justice League heroes. Most importantly, it ignored Kara Zor-El herself. Supergirl, being one of Clark Kent's last remaining blood relatives, never made any appearances, and the lack of mentions made fans question what was going on. It wasn't until the season 2 finale that the writers dropped a plot twist by confirming that despite taking place in the Arrowverse franchise, Superman & Lois isn't set on Earth-Prime, but rather an undesignated Earth in its Multiverse.
As Superman & Lois continues with a new continuity, it still begs the question about Supergirl and whether Benoist, who starred as the heroine for 6 seasons, will ever appear on the show. At this year's Fan Expo Canada (via Brief Take), Hoechlin and Tulloch were asked by a fan about Benoist's Supergirl and if there are any plans to have Kara appear in Superman & Lois. While Hoechlin praised his TV cousin, Tulloch revealed something interesting about Benoist:
"We have not heard that rumor about her coming on the show. She has expressed interest to me in doing it, and I know that we would love to work with her again and Grant [Gustin] and everyone else. I just don't know...ever since we started the show, COVID has been a reality which is why we haven't done any of the crossovers or anything like that, so we just can't speak to whether or not that's feasible."
Following the Superman & Lois season 2 finale, showrunner Todd Helbing confirmed in numerous interviews that if Kara were to show up one day, it would be a new take on the Girl of Steel with a different backstory. However, Helbing never specified if that meant another actress would be cast or if they left the door open for Benoist to show up as that world's Supergirl. While David Ramsey's John Diggle appeared in the Superman & Lois season 2 finale, the showrunner clarified that this take on the Arrow veteran doesn't have the exact same history as the Earth-Prime counterpart. So far, there has been no official indication that Superman & Lois season 3 will feature Supergirl in any capacity, as production won't start until next week.
If the Superman & Lois team hopes to have Benoist appear as Kara, it would have to be in the foreseeable future as the Supergirl star is set to headline her own HBO Max series, The Girls on the Bus. It's also worth taking The CW's new owner into account as the Arrowverse brand could very well be finished within the next 2-3 years. The Flash season 9 will be the show's last, and given the network's shake-up after Nexstar bought 75% ownership, there is no indication if Superman & Lois, Stargirl, and the upcoming Gotham Knights series will even get renewed for the 2023-2024 TV season. Hopefully, Superman & Lois is on the air long enough to make it possible for Benoist to guest as Supergirl at least once, even if it's as a new iteration of her Arrowverse character.
I remember Bitsy revealed Melissa wanted to appear back when Superman & Lois was launching.

I can thank S&L for one thing. I now understand why people troll the social media of a show they don’t watch for the purpose of saying it sucks. I have not and will never do it but I totally get the compulsion to do so now. I haven’t gone on Hypergate media’s site for S&L, side note thanks again for keeping this site about Supergirl, admins would you share what was said about this there.
Except that's what you use this site for. Every post you make about S and L here is a hate post so any opinion you have about the show doesn't really deserve any respect.
I believe the reference was to my comments and I’ll agree that I don’t like S&L one bit. I believe what they did was disrespectful to the cast and crew of Supergirl. Note I said, “I now understand why people troll the social media of a show they don’t watch for the purpose of saying it sucks.” that means I don’t/won’t go on a social media site for S&L but this is not such a site. My comments are my opinions about how I feel S&L is treating the legacy of Supergirl.

Whatever direction the show went with was fine with me as it wasn't going to affect my enjoyment which is mainly based on how the show treats its titular characters and my interest in those said characters.
COVID did indeed have an influence on S & L being a standalone show and it also affected the chances of a Superman appearance in Supergirl's season finale which would've been nice, even a short phone conversation between Kara and Clark (like Kara and Cat had) would've been cool, it didn't happen though and that was OK as there's plenty of other moments between them to re-watch and enjoy, same applies to crossovers.
I like that there's potential for Supergirl to come onto this show sometime in the future and get a possible fresh take on the character. Not for 2 or 3 more years though as I want Sasha Calle's iteration to be the next one we see.
I like Superman & Lois.Really like it in fact. This one element has annoyed me to no end and the series kept making it a issue by the choices they made and didn't make while leaving the questions hanging in the air but it was addressed in the finale and even though I don't like the answer and how it was handled by TPTB(and does color my views of how I look at the show in a certain way attest for right now),it's addressed.done and I won't bring it up again.
For the record, minus the Sam Lane speech where this was addressed,I thought the finale was good and think parts of it topped last night's Flash finale(which I also liked).

I don't think I made hate posts or even posted about Superman & Lois often nor other shows.Yes,this one element has bothered me and it relates to Supergirl which is when I've posted about it here I mean they brought a Supergirl character over to S & L with the same actress playing her and retcon the character. Why wouldn't that be a topic on a Supergirl forum? It's the same reason I posted about the Earth Prime comics,Armageddon and any potential future guest appearances from Supergirl casts,It's all in relation to this series but I do like S & L and expressed that in past posts.I think the acting is great, the look and effects are wonderful and the storylines have been stellar.I think your wrong about me making hate posts all the time or my opinion doesn't matter.I like the show.I watch every episode.I buy the blu ray set of each season and rewatch episodes.I'm going to watch season 3.There was just one element I didn't like in relation to Supergirl and the larger Arrowverse and had an immediate reaction to how it was finally dealt with.I think you're allowed to have a reaction positive or negative.I'm not the only one who had a rreaction.Like I said abovre, this issue is now addressed and I won't post about it again unless something new comes out in relation to Supergirl casts/characters.
Perhaps comic fan in the future you can post anything about Superman and Lois on Admin's site they've created for that show - https://supermanandloistv.com/.
Again I only posted about S & L here when it has related to Supergirl. This topic related to Supergirl.

Like I said,I'm still going to watch but like a lot of the reactions,I've seen,I feel misled and my connection to this version of Superman & Lois feels gone. This series was sold as a spin-off of Supergirl and the Arrowverse crossovers and now it's been retcon into not being that.So we got versions of these characters played by the same actors with the same characterization but who aren't the version of these characters we spent years getting to,
It's like watching pod people. It would of been one thing if this setup a seperate earth and they were upfront about it from the start like Naomi or the upcoming Gotham Knights but it wasn't. It was promoted as a continuation of the versions of these characters that we knew and they changed there minds and then hid that from us for two years.
I just feel like this version of Superman and Lois are strangers to me now wearing the faces of the characters I knew.
Here's two great videos about this.Spoilers for the entire Superman & Lois finale

This is some BS. I guess that means there’s a Clark on Earth-Prime and whatever Earth S&L exists on, all evidence points to this, Clark was referenced on Flash and Black Lightning. I hope people that are dropping the show let Helbing know exactly why #bocottsupermanandlois Yes, knowing this wasn’t the plan and was deliberately changed makes it worse, I hope S&L gets canceled after season 3.

Well tonight gave us a answer but not the one many were hoping for or as being pointed out elsewhere makes sense.
Superman & Lois is not set on the same earth as Arrow,The Flash,Legends,Black Lightning,Batwoman and of course Supergirl. It's like Stargirl,Naomi and the upcoming Gotham Knights.General Lane in his speech to the twins says Superman is the only hero on their earth even though he knows of other earths with Leagues of heroes.
Yet that dosen't really fit with Diggle's appearance last season where he mentioned Oliver and Crisis or Diggle's appearance tonight where he while talking to John Henry and mentioned meeting him last year in that previous episode.Plus Diggle is sportign his exact look that he ad two weeks ago on The Flash.
What's fustrating is that we know this was NOT the original plan.Crisis set up Superman having two sons.Kara was supposed to be referenced via a photo in the series premiere that was shot and cut.Plus Superman & Lois was supposed to have a crossover with Batwoman pre-pandemic.Eric Wallace tried to get Tyler Hoechlin for Armageddon this season but scheduling prevented it(although since Wallace said Hoechlin promised to make a future appearance, now how does that work?Different Superman with his old Supergirl suit?)
As someone on twitter said, they took the lazy way.
Will post interviews that hit addressing this.

How Is Superman & Lois Connected to the Arrowverse? EP Sheds More Light on Finale's Long-Awaited Explanation
By Andy Swift / June 28 2022
Tuesday’s second season finale of Superman & Lois finally gave viewers an answer they’ve been waiting for — even if it wasn’t the answer they were expecting.
We’re talking about how exactly this show is connected to the larger Arrowverse, something that was addressed (albeit briefly) this week by General Lane. Mild finale spoilers ahead!
“I’ve been working for the DOD for a long time,” Sam told his grandsons. “I’ve seen things you would not believe — glimpses of other worlds, and the leagues of superheroes they have on them. And even though we only have your father on this planet, thank God that we do, because he’s the finest of any Earth.”
Speaking with TVLine, showrunner Todd Helbing acknowledges, “From Day 1, there were questions of how we were connected to the Arrowverse. If you go back to the first script that got sent to Warner Brothers and DC, it had a lot of references to other heroes like The Flash. There were moments when we were shooting, and I think I’ve said this before, but there was a photo of Kara on Lois’ desk at the Daily Planet. All of that stuff got slowly pulled out, and the more we did that, the more it became a can of worms to even mention it.”
So, why didn’t we get this big speech sooner?
“DC and I had a conversation during Season 1, and the decision [to keep Superman & Lois separate] was made then, but I couldn’t make it public until the end of this season,” Helbing explains. “So when I got all these questions [in previous interviews], I knew what we were doing, but I could never talk about it. It got a little frustrating on my end, but I totally understand DC’s position. So this put that to rest. I’ve said from the beginning that we want to put our own stamp on the Superman property. This wasn’t meant to alienate us from the Arrowverse, but because a lot of the other shows are sadly no longer going to be on the air, it felt like the right thing to do.”
While this Superman is aware of the multiverse, as established in Episode 7 of Season 1, “we have to think about this as a separate Superman, a doppelganger of the one who was in the Arrowverse,” Helbing says. “I understand why everyone has been wanting the references, but it would have felt wrong.”
(In other words, don’t hold your breath for any big crossovers in the near future. Or ever.)
As for the John Diggle we saw at the end of the Season 2 finale, he’s also — you guessed it — not the same Diggle that spent eight seasons kicking butt on Arrow.
“This is also a new Diggle,” Helbing confirms. “David Ramsey had grown a beard and grew his hair out. He called me and said, ‘I’ve been growing my hair, I look different. Do you want me to shave and get a haircut?’ So not to add more confusion to it, but he’s a different Diggle.” (Click here for more intel on the finale.)
Was this the explanation you were expecting? Grade the finale and season of Superman & Lois below, then drop a comment with your thoughts.
I don't get why it is a can of worms to mention Kara or the other shows when the other shows had no problem mentioning Superman.
Also, the Diggle explanation doesn't jive with his season 1 or appearance or why Diggle is sporting this same look on The Flash two weeks ago.
https://www.tvinsider.com/1050194/superman-lois-clark-water-fortress-diggle-doppelganger-intergang-season-3/
Now, the Diggle moment, I’m still confused. What are you setting up there? Is this the Justice U. thing or is this something that you’re looking to do in the show next season?
Well, what we really wanted to do is just basically tee up one of the villains, Bruno Manheim. And also, the stuff that we had Diggle do and say in Season 1… I couldn’t be up front with the audience until this episode about how we’re connected to the Arrowverse or not connected. And so we had to very carefully have him say things that could be presented as one way but the real reason is a different thing. So yeah, no, it was really just to set up Bruno and to sort of cement that this guy is a different Diggle than the Diggle that was in Arrow. This is our Earth’s version of Diggle, he got presented with the green box and everything he said in Season 1 is true. There’s been an Oliver Queen who died. There were other heroes, but there was nobody with superpowers except for Superman. And he’s the only superpowered person on this planet other than Jordan right now.
Then you send Lucy off to Metropolis, and we know from Supergirl that Lucy was in Metropolis.
Yeah. So the best way to think about this is that some of the characters are doppelgangers, some aren’t. Right? So General Lane clearly isn’t. Lucy is. Diggle is. You may see other people that are. But they’re all different versions of them. Just like how John Henry came from a different planet where there is a bad Kal-El, it’s the same sort of idea.
Again I call bull *bleep* on this and lazy.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Superman & Lois Showrunner Breaks Down Season 2 Finale
The Flash Podcast: So we get the big confirmation that Superman & Lois takes place on another Earth, and I know a lot of Arrowverse fans will have questions about this so can you talk about what led to this decision?
Todd Helbing: Originally, if you look at the original script – I think it’s online somewhere – there are a lot of references to Crisis, with Clark and his family because of it. We went from having one infant to two teenage boys, that was a huge part of it. But it’s just felt like, it was opening a can of worms and and required so much explanation to, someone like, let’s say my mom, a new audience member, that it wasn’t going to play in the way that we originally intended. So Greg [Berlanti,] and I, along with The CW, Warner Bros. and DC, we just started to pull all those references out. There even was in episode two, there was a picture of Kara with the two of them at the barn from the crossovers. They just slowly for whatever reason got pulled out.
Then I had a conversation with DC, in season 1 about this, there was a desire to put our own stamp on the Superman mythology and just have it be able to function on its own. But the more we got through season 1 and the end of the season 2, it’s just felt more honest to not have it be on the same planet. I think when all the other shows were on at the same time, it was easier to do references like The Flash in Central City and Supergirl in National City. But for our show, like our big bads became so huge, and there’s no way like, having two worlds merging, but everybody won’t be there. Unfortunately, now that these other shows are no longer going to be on the air, it just didn’t feel like it was gonna be rewarding. I’m sure there’s gonna be some fans out there that are upset. I totally understand, but I think the decision was just made to keep our show on a different planet and do the best we can.
The Flash Podcast: Do you have an idea in your head canon what this world’s Supergirl is like? Whether she would be played by Melissa Benoist or someone else – although we would obviously love to see Melissa, – do you sort of know what and where she would be in this world?
Todd Helbing: Yeah, it would not be the Supergirl from the Arrowverse, it would be our version so we would invent a new backstory for her. The same way that we did with with Lucy, General Lane, and John Diggle, he same way with John Diggle. they may be their doppelganger and they may look exactly the same. But it would be a completely different story.
The Flash Podcast: Despite this reveal, fans always hope for a crossover between Superman and The Flash, especially before the latter ends its run, what can you speak about that?
Todd Helbing: The pandemic sort of like just made it virtually impossible of doing that. But like I say this all time I love Grant Gustin. Clearly, I’m connected to all the cast there and Eric Wallace is a friend of mine. So that would be a lot of fun. So it’s just sort of depends on if there is a real desire from everybody to do it, But those conversations are initiated by people a lot higher than me, so we’ll see what happens. I’m certainly would not be opposed to have The Flash on our show.[/i]
So Superman & Lois could have it's own version of Supergirl that looks like Melissa(like Lucy and Diggle ) or not(like Sam Lane and Morgan Edge).
As someone who likes Superman & Lois,I have to say,I feel really turned off right now.I'm still watching the show but I get why some are sayinjg they are dropping it due to this.I feel my enthusiasm for the show took a hit tonight too especially knowing this was not the original plan for the series.

KRYPTONSITE’S CRAIG BYRNE: At what point was it decided that Superman & Lois was not happening on the same “Earth-Prime” as The Flash, Supergirl and several of the other DC shows?
TODD HELBING: Discussions were had in Season 1 with DC, so I knew that that was the way that we were gonna go, but I was asked not to reveal that to the public until the end of Season 2. So you know, it was two seasons of questions about it, with fans getting more and more frustrated – which is completely understandable – but it just felt like for our show, and particularly now, with shows unfortunately ending, it seemed like the best decision, to have Superman & Lois on its own Earth.
Does this mean that the versions of Clark and Lois that we saw on the crossovers are still there on another Earth?
Yeah.
I hate that they are also using the excuse of shows ending also playing a part in this decision.

From a new interview with showrunner Todd Helbing previewing tonights season 2 finale of Superman & Lois.
https://www.kryptonsite.com/superman-lois-finale-helbing-on-big-moments-arrowverse-answers-green-lantern/
Is it true we will find out in the season finale where Superman & Lois falls in the Arrowverse; i.e. is the show happening on Earth-Prime with The Flash, Supergirl and everything else? “Oh, yeah. It’s confirmed,” Helbing tells us. (Clarification: What is “confirmed” is that this is the episode where we find out; we’re not telling you whether it is or not until you’ve seen the episode!) Keep your eyes open for a big speech from Sam Lane (Dylan Walsh) which will definitively answer the question of why, say, characters like Kara or Alex Danvers haven’t been called in.

I have very low expectations and in fact am prepared to be outraged at whatever “explanation” is provided. To my knowledge Helbing has never said Kara/Supergirl will be addressed let alone mentiond. I only know he said S&Ls relationship to the Arrowverse will be clarified. If I’m wrong and he said Kara/Supergirl let me know.
If there is a mention or not,I'll post about it.
