What happened to Mon-El and Lena's kid?

I am pretty sure that we all had let Mon-El and Lena's kid incident from the season finale of season two just slip over our heads, but this question has been circling my head and I was wondering if you guys were curious too. What happened to Mon-El and Lena's kid? Since Rhea was able to gather DNA from them both and on Daxum you only need some DNA to produce a child where did the child itself go? Is it with the Daxemites? Is it on Earth?

It was my understanding that while Rhea had collected thier DNA she hadn’t made her grandchild yet. She wanted them to be married first. There is no child.
