which gay actress would like to play the role of bat woman

I posted this same reply in the article on the title page.

I think it would be great for representation if the actress was gay. However, I think the primary concern needs to be if the actress can pull off the character and do her justice. It'd be great to have our cake and eat it too, having a gay actress who can pull off the character. But the quality of the actress must come over her personal orientation. Nobody thinks less of Chyler's portrayal of Alex just because she's straight in real life.

I think the best bet is to do what they've done with Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl, and go with a relative unknown. Yeah, they'd all done other stuff, but none of them really came to mind when we were thinking "who could play these characters". Frankly, based on pictures alone, I wasn't sold on Melissa. But that pilot...that pilot episode blew me away, and sold me, instantly.

I don't know that I know if an actress is gay or not, I know of a few but they aren't small screen actors....so not sure who I would have play her.
